Watering worked out from the plant, not a calendar

Litres come from the plant's own root zone, canopy and soil, following FAO-56, the UN irrigation standard. Weather only warns you when it turns hot or dry — it never overrules the soil in front of you.

  1. Tell it where your garden is

    plantu uses your location for the sun, the rain and the season, so the advice fits your climate rather than someone else's.

  2. Add what you grow

    Search the 155 plants, or photograph one and let plantu name it. Put it in a bed on your plot, as a seed, a seedling or grown.

  3. Water what it tells you

    Every day, plantu works out which plants are thirsty and how many litres each needs. A reminder comes when it is time; tap once, or water them all.

  4. Watch it grow

    The log keeps every watering. Plants grow on screen as they grow in the ground, and medals mark the milestones along the way.

Your garden lives on your phone. Everything but the camera works in the garden with no connection at all.
