plantu — Privacy Policy

plantu is a gardening app for Bonaire. It is built to work offline, and almost everything it knows lives on your phone. This policy explains the few things that leave it, why, and how to get rid of them.
plantu is made by Gediomar Sluis, Kaya Kamari 25, Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands. Questions about this policy, or about the data plantu holds about you: gediomarsluiss@gmail.com.
What stays on your phone
Your garden — plots, beds, plantings, watering records, notes, the log and your settings — is stored on the device itself. If you never sign in, none of it is sent anywhere, and deleting the app deletes it.
What is collected, and why

plantu does not sell your data, and does not build a profile of you.
Who else receives data

| Anthropic (only once identification is switched on) | The photo you chose to identify, for the length of one request. It is not stored and is not used to train models. |
Children
plantu is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Keeping and deleting your data
- Everything on the phone is deleted when you delete the app, or from Settings → Start over.
- Your account and everything in it can be deleted inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your garden from our database along with the account itself, and cannot be undone.
- Feedback is kept without identifying information and is used only to improve the app.
- Tracking consent can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to the address above and we will answer. Deleting your account in the app does all of this immediately. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the version in the app always links here.
